McAuley Falls to Liberal

Tuesday night was the opener basketball game for the Liberal Bulldogs and the McAuley Warriors.  The Warriors started the game at a good pace, but by the end of the the first quarter the Bulldogs had taken a substantial lead. Basketball season has begun and the girls team is starting this season with a new coach, Zach Owens. The team’s first game was last Tuesday, November 26th. The Warriors traveled to Wheaton to compete in the Ozark 7 Conference last Tuesday. They ran on Wheaton High Schools cross country course which is very difficult, having a lot of rocks and hills. Home for Districts

This week is the start of districts for the McAuley Warriors.  Luckily the Warriors will be playing at home.  This game is predicted to be another great game between the Pierce City Eagles and McAuley.  The last time these two teams matched up against each other the game went into double overtime with the Warriors

Warriors Senior Night

This Friday is the Warriors last regular season game. McAuley is playing the Greenfield Wildcats at Fred G. Hughes Stadium. Kick off will be at 7:00 P.M. Greenfield is three and five, beating Archie, Pierce City, and Liberal. They have lost to Miller, Diamond, Sarcoxie, Jasper, and Lockwood. Greenfield is known for playing 100% up

Wheaton and College Heights Volleyball

The Warriors volleyball team played two home games this week. The first game, on Monday, was against the Wheaton Bulldogs.
