Last night, the Warriors had a home game against the Golden City Eagles. To start the night off, the Junior Varsity boys won their game 39-37. The Varsity girls played after and looked great right from the start. The Lady Warriors came out on fire and jumped ahead of the Eagles with a score of 44-13 at the half. They brought that same intensity into the 2nd half and won 62-28. The Lady’s were led in scoring by Courtney Bates who poured in 19 points. Dorothy Ostmeyer contibuted 13 points and Abby Schiefelbein scored 11 points. There next game will be on Jan. 4th against Monett at McAuley.
The Varsity boys started fast and finished strong to get the win 68-48. The Warriors led by 10 after the first quater of play and got the lead up to 20 towards the end of the 4th quater. Starters, Domenick Blanchette, Kyle Glover, and Jake Doyle all scored in double figures to help bring the boys to victory. They improve their record to 5-4 before the break. They return to action in the Miller Invitational beginning on Jan. 2nd.
